We went straight into mains and the lobster, crab bisque was truly divine. The dessert menu is simple but the cheesecake was to die for! Great meal, great location, great service.

Food was better than expected, had lovely starters and turkey main with all the trimmings, bottle of good red, table looked great, atmosphere great, with just a hint of background music. Food just melted in our mouths. Really made our day.

Read MoreThe location is beautiful on the spur side of the river crouch. We had reserved a table and the service was immaculate and the food was excellent. The restaurant was really busy as the weather was glorious but we weren’t kept waiting at all and the food can up really quickly It was excellent value for money and although an bit of a drive from where we live we shall make it a regular occasion.

Read MoreVisited the Anchor again in Hullbridge for a double date. Fortunately the area that we got seated was being waited by Elli. Our last visit she was our waitress and done a splendid job. She was just as good second time round, far from a 1 trick pony! If you get the chance to visit try get waited by her to make your night out even better. Already looking forward to going back and fingers crossed we get waited by the wonderful Elli.
